explore leeds from a conveniently central base

During my weekend stay, I loved being just a short walk from Potternewton Park, which offered lovely green spaces for a leisurely stroll, and also found that landmarks like the Leeds Cathedral were within easy reach, making my explorations of the city enjoyable and stress-free.

    local grub
    fried chicken
    friendly staff
    dated facilities
    limited variety

Oh mate, the local grub around Leeds is a real treat! The find of the trip was definitively the food at Mojo's, their fried chicken melts in your mouth! Plus, we were all over the convenient Tesco's café nearby for a quick bite. The friendly staff made every meal a delight.

Now, the dining facilities at the Britannia could use a bit of a facelift – they felt a touch dated.

The staff really made the stay special! Owen was super helpful with local tips and made me feel welcomed 😊. The only downside was the noisy road outside, but overall good vibes!

    self-service buffet
    spacious parking

    would come here again

The room had a private bathroom, TV, tea/coffee maker, and heating that kept it cozy. Staff were helpful when we asked about meals. Breakfast was a self-service buffet, and the portions were generous. The parking was spacious, making it easy for us to bring our own food and drinks. Relaxing outdoor seating for post-meal chats was nice.

    missing amenities

We had a lovely time exploring Harewood House and Gardens nearby with the kids. The hotel was conveniently located, making it easy for our family to visit local attractions like the Grand Theatre.

For dads, it would be great if the room had a mini-fridge for snacks.

    cozy room
    delicious meals
    refreshing dip
    slow elevators

The cozy twin room was a nice surprise, and I loved how the pool was open late for a refreshing dip after a busy day. I really enjoyed the fitness center and the on-site restaurant served some delicious meals. Just a heads up, the elevators could be a bit slow at times, but it didn't take away from my experience overall! 😊
